Does anyone please have information on F/O Eric Alexander McMillan, NZ4211911?
His son Neil McMillan wrote to me, as follows:
I do not have anything, but I will advise him to seek out his father's service records from the NZDF, and I am hoping more can be found here.

Hello,
I am the son of the above mentioned RNZAF pilot who served in WW2 in Britain. I am aware that he was a qualified Lancaster pilot based in the UK but am unable to uncover any further details.
My father who passed away in Dannevirke, North Island in 1980 and is interred in the Returned Services Cemetery at Mangatera, Dannevirke. My mother, Kathleen, who served in the ATS is buried there with him. It has been my privilege to have visited the grave on three occasions.
I myself was born in Invercargill in 1948 but was brought to the UK aged 5 by my parents ( who later in life returned to NZ ).
It would be much appreciated if you could in any way provide some details of his Airforce career.
I, myself, served with the Royal Air Force for 10 years, man and boy. It is so true to say “it runs in the blood”.
