I'm trying to help a friend track down info on a RAAF Mirage that apparently flew in New Zealand for an exercise in 1985, with a rather wild paint scheme. Does anyone know anything about this or (better still) have any images of it?

I'm also intrigued.... A3-2 wore a couple of interesting schemes whilst with ARDU but I would think it unlikely it crossed the ditch wearing either scheme.

Actually, I’ve got another photo of that aircraft, A3-54, taken the day before the photo above. The day-earlier photo does not have the yellow markings on it so they must have been applied to the aircraft on the ‘night’ of the 13th of February 1985.
