I was scanning some of Dad's more modern photos and came across a set from Ohakea. I was attempting to use the Airshow Archive to pinpoint when it was. I think I have succeeded, in which case I actually have a bunch more info to add.
My theory is that it was Ohakea Open Day 2004, on account of NZ1882 and NZ1883 being present. Records show they were on strength ~May 99 through June 2012. There are only 2 shows at Ohakea listed in the archive in that timeframe and I believe it to be the 2004 one, partly on account of what was present in March 2012 that was not in any photos.
With that in mind, here's what I think I can identify from the photos. Two of these are already listed, further adding to my belief.
Warbirds Harvard 1078 (ZK-ENG) Harvard 1098 (ZK-ENJ) Harvard 1057 (ZK-TVI) Harvard 1052 (ZK-MJN) P-40 ZK-CAG (unconfirmed but Aussie-schemed) P-40 ZK-RMH (unconfirmed but Flying Tiger-schemed)
RNZAF B200s NZ1882, 83 P-3 NZ4202 C-130 NZ7005 B757 NZ7572 Harvard NZ1015 CT-4Es NZ1985,90,92,93 as Red Checkers (obviously more, but unidentified) UH-1H NZ3811 (plus 4 other green unidentified, plus one white) Sioux (unidentified)
