Here is a great one for the modellers to have a go at. This has come up on Facebook. Vampire NZ5761 of No. 75 Squadron has a mix of camouflage and silver (nose, undersides and rudder/s). Note how rough the demarcation is between the silver nose and the camouflage. It does not seem to be a case of rebagging the fabric on the nose. Really unusual. And also note down the other end of the row is another mixed camo and silver machine too.

Barf from Wigram says: "The camo is the original RAF scheme some arrived with. There was no cam paint available to match so this patch scheme was a result of slowly transitioning to the all over silver. In this case the replacement rudder would have been fitted from rotable spares, whilst the fwd fuselage has probably been repaired. I have a scheme drawing for one of these Frankenstein schemes."
