Hello All
I'm trying to track down relatives of Sgt J R Barraclough (NZ424222) who was the Wireless Operator in my father's crew on No. 626 Sqdn, RAF Wickenby, from June - October 1945. Thanks to Dave Homewood I have the following information:
Jack Russell Barraclough
Born 4 September 1923
Died 14 Jan 1997
Buried Belfast Cemetery, Christchurch City, Canterbury, New Zealand.
If anyone can help out I'd very much appreciate it.
Gordon Riley Chalus, France

Thanks Errol, I'm now in touch with his youngest daughter and have received scans of some wartime snaps. She tells me that he had at least 500 photos but they were lost after his death in 1997. She does, however, have his logbook so I'm hoping I will be able to glean some information about his time as a W/Op with No.626 Sqdn, RAF Wickenby, 1945. It should assist me with details of my father's time with the squadron. Fingers crossed.
