Anyone out there in Forumland know the capacity of the wingtip fuel tanks on the SF260?

According to Jane's All The World's Aircraft 2008-2009...
"Fuel in two light alloy tanks in each wing each holding 49.5 litres (13.1 US gallons; 10.9 Imp gallons): and two permanent wingtip tanks each holding 72 litres (19.0 US gallons; 15.85 Imp gallons). Total internal fuel capacity 243 litres (64.2 gallons; 53.3 Imp gallons), of which 235 litres (62.1 US gallons; 51.7 Imp gallons) are usable."
This is for the SF-260E model with the 260 Lycoming AEIO-540-D4A5. Looking back at the 1973-74 model the specs state the wings tanks have a total capacity of 22 Imp gallons (100 litres), and the two wingtip tanks a total of 30 Imp gallons (140 litres). Total fuel capacity of all four tanks 53 Imp gallons (240 litres).
So it looks like the tank sizes remained faily consistant through the various models. Do you have a specific model/year?

I think the design has been pretty steady since 1964. There probably isn't much difference in the actual sheet metal bits over the various piston powered models.
The SF260 is the aviation equivalent of the DeTomaso Pantera supercar. Italian design. American muscle.
There used to be one registered in New Zealand many years ago, but I don't think we have any in-country at the moment. A guy I know used to operate one in Australia and he says it was a fantastic machine to fly. Just make sure the tip tanks are empty if you want to do any aerobatics. That would be a lot of weight on the end of a long arm trying to bend the wings.

G-RAZI. S/N 102 Manufactured 1966. UK register only shows F 260. Thanks guys for the assistance. Once again the Forum shows it has answers for everything ( almost - lotto numbers excluded)

The Aviamilano Costruzione Aeronautiche F.250 first flew in 1964 powered by a 250hp Lycoming O-540. Production was licensed to SIAI-Marchetti as the SF.250. The SF.250 grew into the SF.260 when the engine output was increased prior to production starting. These early aircraft had two wing tanks totalling 22 Imp gallons (100 litres) and two tip tanks totalling 31 Imp gallons (140 litres), for a total of 53 Imp gallons (240 litres). This is the same spec as the 1974 model.
The only difference I can find is the military version which has additional 2x 80 litre auxiliary tanks on underwing pylons.

Once again the Forum shows it has answers for everything ( almost - lotto numbers excluded) S/N 102 started out in Italy as I-SIAW, then moved to Germany as D-ESIC and finally to the UK as G-RAZI . Here are some photos of it in its various incarnations. I-SIAW D-ESIC G-RAZI

The side profile look, with the canopy slid back, suggests to me what the MS-880 Rallye aspired to be..
