I visited the Indonesian National Airforce Museum in Yogyakarta, Java, back in 2018 and was impressed by a large aircraft collection, mostly in pretty good preservation. The collection has a number of interesting WW2 aircraft, as well as a good collection of early cold war western and eastern bloc aircraft. Some of these include:
WW2 Aircraft include Nakajima Ki-43, A6M5 Zero Sen, Mitsubishi Ki-51, Yokosuka K5Yi, Consolidated PBY Catalina, Harvard, B-25 Mitchell, P51 Mustang, C47 Skytrain, Vultee Valiant, Boeing Stearman Kaydet
Early cold war/Korean war era aircraft include A-26 Invader, a giant TU-16 Badger, Lavochkin La-11, MiG 15, MiG 17, MiG 19, MiG 21 ex RAAF CAC Sabre, Dutch AF Hawker Hunter, DH Vampire, Grumman Albatross, Lockheed T33 Shooting Star, Aero L29 Delfin, Avia (Ilyushin) AV-14
Later aircraft include Lockheed Hercules, Fokker Friendship, Lockheed Jetstar, A4 Skyhawk, Bae Hawk, North American Bronco, Northrop F5 Tiger.
And there’s a bunch of Western and Soviet helicopters...
I'm new to the forum and haven't worked out how to download photos yet from my computer, but I have quite a few pics of some very interesting aircraft that I'm sure will be of interest to folks.
As a postnote: I went back in Oct 2023 but the airport next to which the museum is attached is now an airforce base, a big new International Airport having been built on the coast south of Yogyakarta. As such foreigners cannot enter without the right security passes, so access was denied. Biut hopefully that will change as it really is a very good air museum and a place you could easily spend a day exploring.

Regarding photos, you need to load them to a third party hosting site. Most members use Flickr, which is free and easy. Sign up here, and load your photos to your new Flickr account. www.flickr.com/Then you need to copy the link from there to the forum. Here is a tutorial.
