Today in 1954, N6505C was first flown in California. In just over three months, it was flying in New Zealand as ZK-BDS.
Production aircraft are getting rare these days but the some are still working both here and Australia.
I did see that the latest engine conversion with the RED Diesel, ZK-EUC was at the recent Wanaka Air Show and no one has posted a photo.

As a young lad I had an identical photograph to this on my bedroom wall courtesy of Cable Ptice Corporation after a letter to them requesting information about this new purpose-built ag aircraft
