Some old footage of mine, was invited to view these resto's, pretty sure it was in the 90's. The Cat was an ex civil Canadian job restored as A24-104 the real '104' was used in Jet assisted take off (JATO) trials. JATO was used when '104' flew a mission down to Macquarie island rescue and injured worker. Due to weather she then flew back to Wigram New Zealand. Found Dave's previous post on this mission. rnzaf.proboards.com/thread/29848/raaf-catalina-wigramThe Boson/Havoc, a few of these where recovered by the RAAF from New Guinea, the US one is still at Amberley waiting for a building to house her and she will to go back to New Guinea. The RAAF job can be viewed at The Point Cook museum in Victoria, Australia.
