Very fortunate to get an opportunity to have a little look through the Presicion Airmotive hangar at Wangaratta in north of the Victorian state of Australia. Doug Hamilton’s shop specialises in restoring P40 Kittyhawks. Few other airworthy types in the hangar. Pretty amazing that a Focke Wulf 190 resides in Australia and New Zealand. Familiar to many on this forum after many years in New Zealand. Ex RAAF P51 A68-674 after being sold by the RAAF was was stored in Banella some 40 kms from where she is currently based, she was also owned by Pearce Dunn in the mid 1960s. Harvard NZ1024 has been in Australia since 1978 when she was sold in the RNZAF tender, she has been in Doug’s care since 1991.

Brilliant to see, Peter. Gosh, I haven't been in that hangar since the early 1990s when it was Drage's Airworld.
