At long last the world's best-loved four-engined flying boat is being made as a proper injection-moulded kit in 1/48th.
However, the manufacturer is to be Fonderie Miniatures, and according to the chatter on Hyperscale Forums, that manufacturer has never actually made a decent kitset yet. I hope it will be a decent enough kit for the average modeller to make a nice job of it anyway.
Hannants lists it as being a Mk III too, so we RNZAF modellers could make the RNZAF's wartime version, which would be cool.
