Forum member Chris Rudge recently acquired the remains of Harvard NZ946, and he has been documenting the tidying up of the airframe in videos.

Here is the latest video showing how I freed up the undercarriage, flap and fuel pump levers, as well as some background on Harvard II spade grips.

In Part 6, I cover a bit of history of NZ906, New Zealand's oldest surviving Harvard, which John Walsh very generously gave me to restore. I also look at one of the pilots who flew it, Len Rayner, who was credited with the destruction of four Japanese aircraft whilst flying RNZAF P-40s in the Pacific.

That is a great score, well done John Walsh for passing on 906 to a new home that will take care of it. Good stuff Chris!
