Join NZ Warbirds on Sunday 15th of September as we commemorate the 84th anniversary of the Battle of Britain with a flypast over the Auckland Cenotaph.

NZ Warbirds at Ardmore will be open with participating aircraft typically departing Ardmore close to 1030am. Timings of the flypast will be published on FB and on our website.

This is a perfect opportunity to see the Ardmore based aircraft out of the hangar and in the air.

We are still finalising aircraft that will be participating but we have a rough plan which we can share:
Aircraft start up approximately at 10:15am
Aircraft Take-off 10:30am
Time over the top of the Cenotaph 11:00am
Landing at Ardmore 11:20am - 11:30am

Please note that the flypast is weather dependent.
🍟We will also have a coffee cart and a sausage sizzle for refreshments (at NZ Warbirds at Ardmore).
*Special note - it has been tipped that this is potentially the last public flight of our long time resident P-51 Mustang ZK-TAF before it heads overseas.
