Very fortunate to squeeze into my winter holiday not one but two shows either side of the ditch recently. The Temora Aviation Museum’s spring show case. Two Ryans which are quite different. At the height of it’s time as a training base over ninety RAAF Tiger Moths operated out of Temora and it’s satelite fields. “61” has been owned and operated in Australia since the late 1970’s. There were some unique and perhaps not often seen formations during this show. Including the first public display of an ex RAAF PC9, of which a few more are set to come onto the civil register in Australia and what a display it was..... Interesting comparing the PC21 to the PC9 the wing especially. More soon.........
