I noted with some sadness in the September 2024 issue of Air Force News (#272) that it was the last printed version of the news. From October 2024 onwards the news will only be available as a download .pdf from the air force website. Like most modern media, the shift to electronic versions of information was probably inevitable; however it would be interesting to see how many of the current readers of Air Force News will take up the shift to this medium

Yes I'd heard that was coming. I am sure that will save the NZDF a few dollars and please the beancounter overlords.

Not to please the beanies, driven by them! All NZDF magazines have ceased hardcopy as part of necessary cost cutting measures.

While I preferred a print version, I developed the process of downloading each issue some time ago, and scanning old issues, and now have an electronic library of AF News dating back to 1994, with some odd issues/pages prior to that.
