Have there been many RNZAF pilots or other personnel who did their training at the USAF Academy, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA? I know that fighter pilot Peter Waller went through the academy, and I just came across this article saying that L. Fenwick (no first name given) also did. Is this a regular or occasional thing to select Kiwis to go there, or was it short lived?

HAMILTON, June 22.
Mr L. Fenwick, of Hamilton, who is believed to be New Zealand’s first graduate from the United States Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, is expected to return home with his wife and parents early next month.
Mr Fenwick began flying at 12 with his father, Mr K. E. Fenwick, and his younger. brother, Ewen. Both boys flew solo when they were 16. When he left school Mr Fenwick joined the Royal New Zealand Air Force and later won the award which took him to the American academy.
He graduated on June 9 and his parents flew to America for the ceremony. On June 11 he married an American girl. In the meantime, his father has helped build the Waikato Aero Club into one of the biggest and most financial clubs in the country, and his brother has become an N.A.C. pilot.
