I do not know exactly what all these acronyms mean and what it is all about, but it doesn't sound like good news.

The New Zealand Defence Force has hit the brakes on plans to replace its aging ECC6 SAP software with the vendor’s new cloud-based S/4HANA suite.
In February, NZDF said it was aiming to release a registration of interest seeking responses experienced providers to fill the role of managing partner to support the implementation.
NZDF then planned to procure a system implementer and business integrator to support the project around July with market engagement to start around September.
However, a notice posted on the government tenders website last week described the Future ERP programme as “pre-cabinet approval”. Planning for further partner procurements had been “temporarily paused”, it said.
“The NZDF plans to submit a business case to cabinet to seek funding for the initial phases of the Future ERP programme and once there is more information and/or certainty regarding funding and timeframes, an update to market will follow,” the notice said.
Last year, SAP announced support for its ECC6 platform would end in 2027.
The Defence Force received eleven written responses from a Future ERP market sounding exercise late last year.
That followed a “town hall” briefing in August, 2023, for which 26 companies registered and 104 people attended, according to a report published on the government tenders website.
Conversations with 17 companies followed before the eleven written responses were received from “international, national and niche/specialist suppliers”.
