Italeri do a pretty nice series of Hueys - not sure of other brands.

There is a 1/72 Flying Kiwi kitset for the UH-1H Iroquois. Decals aren't the best though.

Best kit in 1/72 of the UH-1H is the Esci kit (don't think this has been reboxed by Italeri) of the AB.205/UH-1.
There has never been any other that is good - just a few average. I would avoid the Flying Kiwis one unless you are not too fussed on quality. Italeri is probably your best bet.

I agree, the Esci was the best. There are Esci's still about the place, I got one at the Akl Model-Ex. The next best kit is the Italeri and at the bottom of the list would be the Flying Kiwis. Hasegawa also do a Huey again it is not as good as an Esci. Shop around for prices, I found Bay Hobby Supplies in Tauranga have the best prices in NZ.
I still have my very first 1H (in drab with yellow tail band and engine cowling) made 20 odd years ago. My big 1/72 project is building the entire fleet of RNZAF Hueys - popping 1 into a Herc and the remainder inside the ol' Hobby hangar.

Love too; after the family reunion, then my wedding; then the trip to the mainland (south) then another trip south ............ some where I'll get it done. I have all the materials I need - just finding the time to build.
An un-related to aircraft project - I have finally finished a 1/32 NZ Fire Service Scania - kitbashed from a diecast cab and chassis with a scratch built pump panel, lockers, ladder gangtry etc. I have been asked to do the new Type4 truck - aerial ladder.
