It's so cool to look at the track from Norfolk, compare it to the dead-straight tracks of the trans-Tasman airliners, and you can tell that the P-51 has no autopilot and is being hand-flown all the way. Real pilotage.

Another Mustang from the 363rd Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Wing, to go alongside the Mustang they have in the museum painted as 44-13573 B6-V "Isobel III", would work nicely. Not necessarily Chuck Yeager's "Glamorous Glen III" or Bud Anderson's "Old Crow". I'd hope for something bare metal, with nice nose art and perhaps D Day stripes. I have no idea what will end up on it eventually.

Its goodbye TAF as a mustang but the rego will go on. The rego would suit 1068 well when its finished!
