I have been researching a fantastic story of a Curtiss Triad replica, which was built here in Cambridge and flown for a few months, before it was placed into MOTAT's care on loan in 1977. Unfortunately MOTAT inexplicably sold it without consulting the owners. When they finally learned this in 2005, it ended up in a legal tribunal. One of the witnesses who supported the case of the owners was Malcolm Frazer. Among the legal documents is this statement from him which I have copied (slightly abridged), because wow! Malcolm sounds like one heck of an interesting guy. I would loved to have interviewed him for the WONZ Show, but sadly a Google search revealed he passed away in Tauranga on 17 June 2006, aged 73. But just look at his résumé, so impressive.

Dave, he was an interesting guy with a wealth of knowledge of historical aviation. I met up with him while volunteering at MoTaT.
