well that will be easier than making the panel from scratch with PE.
I'd like to see the seat (being a seat guy).

Does the update set include the revised instrument coaming? The Kahu instrument panel is quite a bit taller than that of the E and as such, it won't fit under the Hasegawa kit coaming.
Also the HUD base comprised nearly a quarter of the visible coaming area, so quite a different design than the Hasegawa one too. Looks like a good set, but having mine 90% scratchbuilt already, will finish off what I've started.
Dave are you able to post a scan of the instructions? I'd be interested to see what the bits in the set are (most are pretty obvious, but not all)?
I'm also curious as to what the problem with the Hasegawa canopy is.

Fantastic news! I too would like to see a clear close up of the instrument panel if possible before I order one. Thanks. Don

THE SET YOU SEE HAS BEEN REDONE! and is even better! anyways, the problem with the raised cockpit coaming is that its wont fit too well under the canopy, its a matter of accuracy taking a back seat to practicality, and using the E coaming. in 1/48 I believe the distance is approx 1.5 mm, and under curved glass it would be a challenge for all bu the most die hard Skyhawk fan to tell the difference. ( i know you are out there)

Dave Lochead advised me last week that the A-4K set's price has risen to NZ$36.00 due to difficulties in manufacture, but all prior orders will be honoured at the original advertised price. Also, the TA-4J and TA-4K sets are now available, for $55 and $60 respectively. www.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/Kiwi%20Resins%20Current.htm#48

The left hand instrument panel looks a bit odd, doesn't look much like a rear kahu T-bird panel, almost looks like a dino panel?
It would be nice to see the tubs a bit better too, The right hand one in the pic looks like it has much smoother side consoles, which is promising.

the left hand panel is the TA4J panel, as the J model will sell far in excess of teh Kahu version, the pics just show the components.

the left hand panel is the TA4J panel, . So it was a dino one! Do you have any pics of the rear Kahu panel? I asume for the front one you've used the same as the A4K panel?
