I'm currently making Academy's 1/72 Hawker Tempest with his markings, I doubt it'll look that good but I'm doing my best in the "lesser" scale ;D
One to add to my ANZAC collection along with Wng Cmdr Colin Gray's Spitfire Mk IX. (used Ventura's excellent 1/48 decals).

Is the 1/48 Euard Tempest Mk V easy to get hold of at all? I purchased Aeromaster decals with Desmond Scott's Typhoon and Sheddens Tempest but the latter model isn't the easiest to source!
