Are yous jokers aware that Kiwi Resins now has released their 1/48th scale Dragon Rapide? It costs $135 which seems a lot but it has full interior and I believe engine detailing, and also I have seen the masters whilst Dave Lochead was building them and I will say it looks utterly superb. The only trouble is deciding which of the many avialable schemes to choose. Even the civvie schemes look great on the Rapide. So, have you got photos of the various NZ military, warbird and civil schemes so we can all decide which one we want to build? Here's a suggestion, a Cook Strait Airways one from before the war - there were four, Venus, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter from memory. All of them ended up in the RNZAF and went to war in Fiji so were proper warbirds. Dragon Rapide ZK-AEC "Mercury" And the 1980's warbird colours of the Monteiths Dominie
