Hi
Reading 'RNZAF the first decade' they mention a colour called 'pacific blue' in relation to P40s being repainted here in NZ. The profile showing the new colour looks quite interesting, and I want to paint it in a flight sim IL2.
Does any one have info on what the colour values were? or which machines and when were painted this way?
Cheers Travis

The RNZAF Musuem's Hudson is painted in the Pacific Blue colour and it was matched exactly to the genuine wartime colour when they mixed the paint. I don't have any photos of it in the sublight as it's displayed in the dark hall, but you can find a few on the net of NZ2013 with proper light on it, like here www.uswarplanes.net/images/locktwins-01.jpgThe Warbirds Harvard ZK-ENE also used to be in the Pacific Blue and NZ Green scheme. Someone here may have photos of it back then?

Looking at these photos together I'd say ZK-ENE's paint wasn't as accurately matched as the Hudson and P-40E
