Awesome work there, Calum. The detail work on that model looks fantastic too.

Awesome model. A lot of detail in that, and proportionally a lot of hard work too I bet! Thanks for showing it to us, great work.

Fantastic! You NEVER can have too many Spitfires. I read on a couple of sites about the length but, even as a Spitfire nut, it still looks good!
I'm longing to do a run of 485 machines. Good stuff!
Looking at some of the pics on your site, place her on the right background and you could fool some of us enthusiasts into thinking this was a real machine! Fine work!

Looks a great job you've done on the bird, did you use Aeromaster decals for that one? I believe they did 2 sheets called "Post D-Day Spitfires 1944/45" parts 1 & 2.
I used the decals for the Mk XIVe on the Pt II sheet, can't recommend them more. These sheets are based on the Ventura book "from D-Day to Victory" by author Malcolm Laird, great reference and easily obtained so if you get both you're made.

Just amazing Calum, this has to be your best yet, and I thought your Hurricane was amazing!
I also enjoyed the link to your website, very informative indeed. I dont know what all the fuss is with the Hasegawa Spitfire. I know it has dimension issues, but I have seen several built now and they just look right....I cant work it out. I even have the Aeroclub fuse conversion, but dont think I will even bother using it.
Thanks for posting.

Awesome stuff Calum, looks the bee's knees!
Just realised I never did get back to you about that wing. Bit late now though!

Nice work. Your best to date - have you been taking lessons from BG?
Reminds me I need to get back to my Spit at some stage.
