16 March 2008 has just been announced for the next show, with the theme 'Bushplanes & Barnstormers'. With so many Aussies regularly visiting Wanaka, we would like to think that a large contingent of Kiwi's will make a special effort to attend 'the best little airshow in Australia'. We would welcome a group booking , and would be delighted to arrange special facilities, tours, flights etc. for Forum members. So note it in your diaries and start planning (and saving!). Tyabb prides itself in having the countries most diverse collection of active vintage, veteran, classic and warbird aircraft. Our airshows are supported by other major collections such as the RAAF Museum Point Cook, Temora Aviation Museum, and the folks from Wangaratta. We hope to release a DVD shortly of this years event, and I will post details of its availability. Apologies if this sounds a bit like an ad (it is), but we do it all for charity. Rob

Okay, you've twisted my arm; I'll have to make the trip from Canberra to Tyabb - even though it's so far away! :-)
If the Corsair is flying then that will be a bonus, plus it would be nice to see Judy's P-40 too. I kick myself now for not getting to the Tyabb Mustang Round Up, as seeing 7 Mustangs in one place would have been excellent.

If driving from Canberra break your trip at Wangaratta Corsair67 and check out Murray Griffiths warbird restoration facility. An impressive setup and they welcome visitors. The Great Mustang Roundup was something special. Had the priviledge of flying with them in the airfield attack segment at the end. 20+ aircraft over a small airfield was a memorable experience. For those who missed it, some of the footage will be included in our 2006 video.
