Just for fun, who do you reckon is the best New Zeland comedian or comedy actor of all time?
Feel free to list more than one here, but tick your favourite.

My all time favourite is John Clarke as Fred Dagg. Mainly because he was so damn funy back in the 1970's, but today you can still listen to his old material and its just as funny. Even the political stuff of those days still rings true, amazingly. He was great in The Games too.
Other favourites of mine are Billy T. James (he was from Cambridge and once stood on my foot!!), Ewen Gilmour and the excellent Te Radar. I also like McPhail and Gadsby, together and apart. "Mr Stoatgobbler... a call for Mr Stoatgobbler..."
Who's your favourite?

John Clarke wins it for me. He and Brian Dawe are excellent together and I look forward to seeing them every Thursday at 7.55pm on the ABC.

We never see John Clarke on TV much anymore, not even much of his Aussie stuff. A great pity.
