I just got my latest Pacific Wings yesterday. Since the internet, the only information that is worth reading is any multi page articles, the rest is ads and general 2-3 liners which I would have read elsewhere on the net in the weeks before hand.

I've been informed by someone close to the publisher that they have seen the latest issue....lucky devils! I'm keenly watching my letterbox for any signs of arrival.

Yes I think that Wings has gone downhill a lot recently. It seems to have reverted to the 1960s format, where it is largely news notes from overseas media and PR handouts. A pity. I've given up buying it.

I thought Wings had improved lately personally. It had gone downhill a bit after Ross Macpherson passed away, and with the loss of warbird content it held less interest for me. But these days I am enjoying it again. I note I even got a bit published in the latest one.

I think wings is not as good as it was in the 90's. Flight International and Flypast are my pick

I reckon Classic Wings will be worth the wait. Especially with the fact it should have an advert in there for Nudemetalz, that company that does the Biplane Clocks

The latest magazine is indeed a good one, as usual

Well, here's a pic of them when they were on my wall. The Triplane wasn't finished yet then. Just a quick snap.

I've also stopped buying the "Wings" mag after the change in format. One of the reasons given was more overseas news because of so many kiwis being overseas? I would have thought more homegrown content and stories would have suited the kiwis overseas. If I want to know whats happening in other parts of the world there's heaps of mags or the net to choose from, with the SAME news. I always liked the articles on the ag industry, but theres no more of them, also any stories on local operators or southern hemisphere stuff. Classic Wings and NZ Aviation get my pick.
