I just discovered this book after reading through posts on the NZ Warbirds site's guestbook. spitfirewingman.com/spitfirewingman/index.htmColonel James Haun was an American who served on No. 485 (NZ) Squadron and flew as Johnny Checketts' wingman. Has anyone read this? I wonder how much RNZAF squadron content is in the book?

Hey Dave - the original edition of this book was called "who says that there are no old bold pilots" I have never seen another copy other than the one I have which was given to me by johnnie Houlton who flew with James Haun.
James Haun was still flying into his 90's
The new book was published by his son also called james.
I have been in touch with him and he said he will sell me a few cheap - this will save on postage as well.
So if anyone wants a copy let me or Dave know.
