I'm interested to learn more about aircraft in NZ that have flown in the colours of non-aviation related commercial sponsors. I can name the following: de Havilland DH9 - D3139 -sposored by Flemings Creamoata cereals DH60 Moth - sponsored by Cadbury Chocolates, prewar DH89 - sponsored by Monteiths Brewery, 1980's - incidentally among my favourite brewers ;D I guess the Air New Zealand planes that have featured murals of the Lord of the Rings characters and All Blacks also count too. Can you add any more to the list? And can you provide photos of any? I have one photo, I took this at Hamilton Airport in the mid-1980's. I'd love to see more photos of the plane in this scheme:

I don't know if this really counts, but weren't ZK-TAF 'NZ2415' and Sir Tim's Corsair 'NZ5201' painted up for a beer commercial in the early-90s?

Here's another one:
Avro 504L H2989 that carried the advertising of GOLD CROWN GASOLINE on its fuselage. A photo appears on page 66 of "The History of New Zealand Aviaton" (1985, by Ross Ewing and Ross Macpherson)
Another I have remembered was the DH60 Moth that was donated to the Auckland Aero Club by the New Zealand Herald newspaper - but I don't know if it actually carried the sponsor's name. It probably did as it was a huge publicity stunt to give a way a plane, and it was thereafter known as the Herald Moth.

Didn't P-51D ZK-CCG wear a fuel companys (Mobil?) scheme during her short career?
