NZ Metroliner accident.

Has any accident information been released yet about the Metroliner crash that occured in NZ earlier this year?

There was some evidence that the aircraft may have suffered an inflight fire, due to scorch marks on one of the wings and fuselage, but I was curious to know if a formal finding had been forthcoming.

The report hasnt been released yet, but when it does, you can read it at www.taic.org.nz. There are some other interesting reports just recently posted on there The inflight breakup of Iroquois (civil) ZK-HSF and a runway under-run by a boeing 777-200 at Auckland.

Thanks for that, Bruce. There is some very good reading in those reports: many a pilot can learn from other's errors!

The site says that the Metroliner report probably won't be released before May this year.
