I was searching the Time Frames atabase on the Alexander Turnbull Library and found some great photos.
The direct links are too long to work, so what you need to do is go to Time Frames and use their Quick Search facility.

If you type in Bell Block, the results page has an excellent photo taken at The North Island Air Pageant at Bell Block in 1936
