I picked this up in a bunch of old RNZAF publicity posters at the weekend. It's a print on photographic paper, of an Aero Commander/Shrike or something similar. I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about it or if it's of any significance to anyone???. Shine at top right is a reflection of my lounge lights and not part of the original image.

Actually the answer is quite obvious - look at the registration ' PVA ' It's an experimental aircraft put together by the homebuilders association to test the strength of various woodworking glues in aircraft structures !!
Don't believe me? - ah well, how about a Rockwell Turbo Commander 690B ex USA N81795 bought by NZ Lands & Survey Dept./NZ Aerial Mapping Ltd., Hastings registered ZK-PVA 18/10/78 and used in aerial survey work until sold back into the US as N690SC in October 1998.
