Tonight the Origin Pacific website announced the end of its passenger service. A real shame in my opinion. I don't follow the good and bad side of what happened within its Head Shed but it was good for the Kiwi punter to have a choice. A bunch of real good people who stood up to the man. Cheers guys and girls.

Yep, a real sad end to a brave effort. A lot of people have lost their jobs, and that is real sad. I guess it will also mean an end to the Jetsream 41 in New Zealand skies too. One turned up at Ardmore yesterday and is parked up outside Dennis Thompson's aircraft sales. I believe it's off to Nepal. I presume the J41's were all leased? A few of the J32's have found their way to Air National and are, ironically, flying on behalf of Eagle Air (Air NZ Link). The J41 at Ardmore looks almost sad at being parked up.

There was an interesting piece on National Radio's Nine to Noon programme this morning at 11.10am. It gave a history of the airline and an analysis of why things have happened as they have, You should be able to listen to it again on their website at http:www.radionz.co.nz for the next week.

heres a couple of pictures I took at Woodbourne this morning. These two aircraft have been at Woodbounre for a while so it was obvious that things werent going that well. As for the 3rd photo these aircraft have been there a lot longer than that. Its interesting to note the huge concrets blocks that have been used as tie downs

Engineless and homeless. Wonder where these J41's will end up? JSM at Ardmore loks a lot healthier! I see the Padre's Yellow Peril is still there.

I noticed on the way home from the aeroclub that there is a 3rd aircraft there now. Yip the padre is still flying the yellow tomahawk quite regularly
