We have added an “Images Gallery” to the NZ Serials website at www.adf-serials.com/nz-serials/If anybody on the forum has photographs of aircraft in RNZAF colours or ex RNZAF aircraft in civilian colours I would love to add them to the gallery. Please forward them to me as email attachments at ivan.prince@xtra.co.nz .The pictures should be saved in jpeg format with a size across of 640 pixels and annotated with the photographer’s name. If you are unable to do this forward the electronic copies to me as they are and I will convert them to the required format. If you have suitable photographs but are unable to scan them, please post them to me and I will scan them and return them to you. My mailing address is: Ivan Prince, 34 KiaOra Road, Birkdale, Auckland 1310. The Australians have over 5000 photos of their aircraft on the site, so I feel that we need to have a reasonable number as well. Don’t worry if the particular aircraft is already on site, we are happy with multiple photographs of the same aircraft. Thanks. Ivan.

I agree with you Marcus, but in all honesty I doubt I have much to offer. When I was in the RNZAF myself I didn't get a good camera till 1992. Most of my photos were taken on disposables and the quality sux. They were merely taken for memories rather than reference. Now I regret that a bit.
I do have some reasonable photos somewhere stored away that I took so if I come across them I'll certainly post them here and make them available. In the meantime if any ofmthe pictures I've already posted here are of any interest Ivan, let me know. I think the project is a great idea.
Cheers Dave

No real ood ones, and even the bad ones are not scanned. The thing was, when these types flew into the base I usually never had a camera, so unless they visited on the weekend when I had the chance to wander the flightline with a camera, I usually didn't take photos. I do have one or two average shots somewhere from that final day of the CT-4's with a TA-4K on the flighline, not sure where at the moment.
I also have some I took in 1989 with a disposable when the Kiwi Red team arrived home from Australia. They had gone for some big airshow, and an extended tour of the country and doing exercises or something. We got to see them arrive home at Woodbourne (not sure why they came there instead of straight to Ohakea) but they stayed overnight because we went down to the pickets and took photos. Next day they took off and did a heck of a beat up. I've never seen Skyhawks so low, so fast since. I'll see if I can find the photos, but they are terrible shots really.

Hi Dave,
yes I can use a number of those. I'll take them off the forum and upload over the next few weeks.
Thanks,
Ivan.
