Parachutist badly injured at Taupo

I see a skydiver at Taupo was seriously injured today when his chute failed to open properly. He landed in blackbury bushes (of all things to land on!) breaking his leg. He was choppered to Waikato hospital

(mind you after falling with a partly deployed chute, Blackberries would be a minor thing to worry about)
