I just got another batch of NZ Wings issues today, thanks to TradeMe.
A kind of grainy photo appears in the May 1977 ussue of a new NZ designed aircraft, the Twag. Basically, it's two Cessna Agwagons joined at the hip in the fashion of the F-82 Twin Mustang or the He111Z Zwilling.
Apparently it was to give the aircraft more capacity and more power, to outdo more powerful competitors. Also the spare cockpit was to be used to transport the driver/loader to sites.
Then in the August 1977 edition, a fuller article appears with another dodgy photo and this time 3-view drawings. This was in response to apparent 'considerable interst' made by readers who'd seen the first photo.
The whole thing smacks of being one of NZ Wings' more classic piss takes.
But I'm just not sure as stranger things have happened. Was the Cessna Twag real or not?

A joke, never got off the ground - based on the Twin Mustang, which was a joke that actually flew.

So it was a faked photo then, thought so. Clever though
