Is there any story behind the sorry state of this aircraft in the Transport Museum at Wanaka or can anyone provide any of its history? This museum seems to be the repository of quite a number of aircraft but like many outfits seems to lack funds . There is a Prentice , An 2 , Lodestar , Aussie Canberra shell , a Sunderland turret and a Mig 21 and Devon/Dove . But the Airtourer was the first plane my young fella got a flight in , hence the question.

Last operated by Topflight Aviation Ltd., Christchurch 1993-1996 WFU due major corrosion in airframe. To Rhodes' Wanaka museum. Revoked by CAA, reg canc 19May1998
