I was over at Tauranga today for the SportAvex planning meeting (went well - they liked the Gingerbread plane cookies!) and noted that the resoration of the Heron at Classic Flyers appears to have been completed - doesnt she look nice! Looks like new windows have ben fittted and the interiour has all been tidied up - that is a lot of work in a surprisingly short time! She certainly looks way better than she did in her years as Hangar queen at Ardmore.

Very nice job. It looks great.
They're going to need to extend their museum building soon I think. it seems to be a fast growing museum.

Quite a differance since I last saw the aircraft sitting outside next to a hangar at Diary Flat airfield , many moons ago now. I see they have their Tiger Moth ZK-BRL up for sale too.

BRL doesnt belong to the museum, its just a temporary exhibit along with several other machines inside (which are or will be for sale as time goes on).
