It appears that former Director of Civil Aviation in NZ, John Jones, has been appointed CEO of CTC Aviation Training in Hamilton.

John Jones was actually one of the best CAA directors we've ever had. The media made a scapegoat of him and portrayed him as being too "chummy" with the industry - probably because he actually was ex industry and knew the business! There were a number of issues with CAA and as the man at the top he takes responsibility, but hes a good guy and will do very well in that position at CTC. Congratulations John and CTC.
