I'm looking for someone who is either involved with or has at least seen a fair amount of behind the scenes operation of recreational aviation operators in New Zealand. The reason for this is that I would like to either create a piece of software or (more likely) a box that uses a collection of already available free software tools to make recreational aircraft operators' lives easier.
I am thinking along the lines of aero clubs but I don't see any reason why small multi-aircraft commercial operators (eg ag operators) couldn't benefit from this mythical product. There is an underlying reason for this motivation, but in the past I've managed to create some cool stuff by examining unfulfilled needs of like organisations. Surely, there must be a collection of gripes shared by all operators that could be simplified by the use of technology.
If anyone thinks they might be able to help, either reply to me here or in private.
Thanks
Richard

Hi Richard, this sounds like a very good idea. I have shifted the thread into the Civil Aviation baord where it's probably more appropriate as this board covers both recreational and airline flying and operation.
Also I have made it Sticky for a while so it stays at the top and people notice it. Good luck, i hope you get some good responses.

Thanks Dave
Hopefully I can find someone who might be able to help. Making it sticky is certainly a big start!

Richard - what sort of software were you thinking of? PM me if you wish.
