It appears there was a brawl at the back of an Air New Zealand flight this morning. From the TVNZ site tvnz.co.nz/view/page/411424/1274123Midair brawl on Air NZ flight Aug 6, 2007 3:13 PM Police say a man who sparked a brawl on an Air New Zealand on Monday morning had not taken his medication. Passengers on board NZ 417 from Auckland to Wellington were disrupted by a fight that erupted at the back of the plane as it was coming into land. Sergeant Roly Gascoine says a 42-year-old assaulted a man next to him, causing other passengers to intervene. He says it appears the cause of his agitation was that he had not taken his prescription medicine. While he says the incident upset passengers, there was no real danger to anyone on board. It is understood former All Black Ofisa Ton'u was one of those who restrained him. An eyewitness to the brawl says the group continued fighting as the plane landed. Wellington police were on the ground waiting as NZ 417 from Auckland came into land. Passenger Ben Gaines says the fight started at the back of the plane between two men, but escalated as other passengers tried to stop it. He says the flight attendants could not do much as the men were quite big. Gaines says it is unclear what the two men were fighting about, or if they knew each other

I would have thought being beaten up by the guy beside me would have been a danger.... So would being restrained by Junior Tonu'u!

Oh, that's who they mean. I was thinking "I've never heard of an All Black called Ofisa Ton'u before."
