It's very sad to hear of the death of flying instructor Aleisha O'Reilly from the Bay Flight International Flying School in Tauranga yesterday.
The Cessna 152 that she and student Chris Slee were trvelling in crashed in the Urewera Ranges near Lake Waikaremoana.
I'm sure others on the forum will join me in sending our condolences to Aleisha's family and friends and her colleagues at Bay Flight.

It is a very sad day when you lose a flying friend and workmate. My thoughts have been with all at Bay Flight, and student pilot Chris Slee.

A very sad event. I popped into Bay Flight over Labour weekend (before we got blown out) and admired all their Cessnas lined up - MUM DAD PQP SIS KID etc. A nice lineup.
