The first AESL 115, c/n 501, ZK-COG, just interested if anybody can supply a photo of this aircraft. Also, I have a note that it crashed at Lake Summer, 25 Mrch 1978, reg cancelled 14 May 1979. The wreck was extant at Ardmore about January 1985. It it still there or around some place other ? Any info re fate welcomed. Thankyou.

Guess you mean ZK-COZ (COG is a Piper Cub) ZK-COZ Victa Airtourer 115 c/n 501 F/f 12Oct67. 19/9/1967 Otago AC, Dunedin 2/12/1971 R T B Lloyd, Christchurch 4/6/1975 C R McAllister & E H F Curry, Christchurch Cr on t/off Lake Sumner strip 25Mar78. RTS. Reg canc 14/5/1979 Have a note that says brought back to Christchurch and reduced to spares during mid 1979. Don't know anything about it being at Ardmore. I never saw it there but that doesn't necessarily mean that it wasn't.  |
