According to the CAA web page the rego is still current and listed to Mitchell Pascoe, Whitianga. Whether it is still regularly flown I don't know - but there is bound to be someone here who knows.....

Thanks flyjoe180
Always had that muck on the right hand u/c...except when I was the hangar rat I would have been ashamed to see it go away like that :-)
Soloed in it in the '60s and wondered what had happened to it.

BSK has two terms with the North Shore AC.
It started life as a Cub 95 with the Wellington Aero Club, then sold to Sky Advertising Ltd. which was a leasing company providing aircraft to the then new North Shore Aero Club at Dairy Flat. Sold by Sky into private ownership in 1968. Owners in Wellington and Huntly but the only South Island owner seems to have been B W Dando of Greymouth in the 1970s. Came into the hands of Bob Shewry Aviation Ltd., New Plymouth who were aircraft dealers, and then back to the North Shore AC in April 1979. Stayed with them for many years as their tailwheel-trainer until going to Neville Cameron of Whitianga in March 1992, then a couple more owners until the current owner Pascoe in 2000. At some point it was converted to a 180hp engine, which should prove interesting as presumably it still has the no-flap wing.
Never seen BSK at Whitianga airfield, so maybe it is based at a strip somewhere in the area.
No mention of Christopherson in there.

Thanks - it would be interesting with a 180hp engine and no flaps...
