I have an odd question. My Nana used to have an almost unique car, a 1955 Austin A90 Six, which was green and white. When she died Mum and Dad sold in about 1989-90 it to a chap who worked at or flew with the Auckland Aero Club. We saw it a few times on visits to Ardmore later on, but nowadays we wonder what ever happened to it. Does anyone know who the pilot was and if he's still around the club, and if the car's still going? Just curious, it was a great old car.

That was before my time at AAC Dave, but the person could have been Robin Porter, CFI for a number of years until 2000. The last vehicle I saw he had was a Kingswood stationwagon.

And having said that there was a guy named Tony who did cars up and was also into hot rods etc. Short guy, hair was blonde/ginger colour. Would have been reasonably young back in 1989/90. His surname escapes me at present. Andrew knows him well...
