The Devon did look nice as the sun caught it at the right angle for us.
The rain held off till we got back to the car and were driving out the gate thank goodness as it absolutely poured down. It was very dull and overcast in the later stages of the show as I was trying to get a nice shot of the Herc, Orion and 757 in formation but my efforts are all too dark.
Overall it was a good day out and I look forward to the next airshow in 2007.

Yes, it certainly does rain a fair bit in Auckland, doesn't it! ;D
The funny thing is, 20 minutes later it's gone again, and then the humidity goes through the roof.
That Devon is certainly a wonderful looking machine, and looks so clean in that VIP scheme.
