Great photos Chris and Alex. It looks hot there!
Did the Corsair and P40 come out to play?

I was there yesterday, and it was stinking hot. Very windy too, the Tigers need wing minders while taxi-ing. None of the models or WW1 Aircraft could come out.
The Corsair and P-40 weren't scheduled to fly, just exhibit.

Smashing stuff.
I guess the 'mystery planes' are the Corsair and a Staggerwing, which looks stunning in the sun.
I was trying to work out for a bit what the WWII radial engined fighter was, then realised it's a Provost!
And i also wondered for a bit what the Japanese marked plane was in the background, till I realised it's King Kong's Helldiver!
Lovely photos Chris. I really like that hangar, so clean. And the steam engine is cool too.

Is it just me, or can anyone else instantly hear the 'wokka, wokka, wokka' sound everytime they see a picture of an Iroqouis? ;D
I didn't like the 'new' gray scheme on the Iroqouis when I first saw it, but I really do like it now.
Great photos, Chris and Alex. Did the organisers get a good turn out?
Pity the Corsair and Kittyhawk weren't flying.

...and I really wanted to see the Nieuport flying,....b*gger the wind !!!!!!!!!!! Umm,...wasn't a huge turn-out but not bad. I reckon the grey looks great on the Hueys, looks better in the flesh.
