My wife and I will be in NZ from 3 March until 10 May and would much appreciate details of location and dates of aviation related events during the period. It might well be possible to visit a few if we can so organise our travel arrangements. Wanaka and Whitianga are already firm for us. Cheers, Trapper 69

Every aviation event I am currently aware of has been added to the calendar on the forum. You have to be logged in to see the calendar, and look for the link in the red bar just below the photos at the top of each screen (next to 'members')
May is a dead time in aviation it seems. But March has a few events and April has the BIG one!

Some local SAA things that may be of interest if you are in the Waikato during March - May. (I havent put them in the calendar because they are low key events, but may be of interest). March 5th, Vintage Aero Club AGM and fly in (SAA Waikato chapter meeting as well) John Hansens Airstrip, Buddens Rd, Te Awamutu. March 18th, SAA, Microlight and rotorcraft fly in, Tokoroa Airfield. Mid may - early June (Date TBA) "Jodel and Robin Day" Fly - In, Matamata Airfield. send a PM if you're interested, I can let you know the details.

Hi Barry, I am the wingwalker from NZ, but have not flown for a long time, but hopefully be back in the air this year. I have many photos and articles of Helen over the years. In this country we only have a few airshows to display at including some low key flyins all of which are great fun. Unfortunately we don't have any aircraft more suited to wingwalking, but we have some great skilled Tiger Moth pilots who can do the job. Roy Castle broke my World Record which still stands as the longest recorded flight.
