This afternoon at about 5.30pm the Catalina flew over Cambridge.
Then on the news I worked out it was on it's way home from Napier because it was shown displaying the Napier art deco weekend. The report showed that it looked really neat. I'd like to get down for one of these events sometime.
As well as the Catalina they showed a DH60 Moth and a DH Dragon (Stan Smith's I assume). Was anyone from the forum there? If so, have you any photos to share? Aircraft or otherwise...
